Marros

Marros is a short drive east of Pendine, Carmarthenshire, where the land speed record was once set. In the hamlet of Marros parking is available in St Lawrence's Church. From here it's a little bit of a walk south along 'Pilgrim's Way'. Keep heading south, over the style, for stunning views of the sea. The path will zig-zag down hill for quite a way (it's a steep and long walk back up, so make sure you are able to make the walk back). At the end of the path is a house with private property sign - please do use the footpath to the right of the house which is for public access to the beach. Once at the beach turn right and keep going West. It's pebbles and first, but it becomes sand. Warning - it is very tidal and almost all the beach will flood, please check tide times. Bays will become cut off. Also, the cliffs are not stable and rockfalls are frequent - i.e. daily. Do not sunbathe under the cliffs.
