Getting There
One of the Auckland nudist beaches, Pohutukawa Bay a beautiful sandy beach lined with a backdrop of Pohutukawa trees along the cliff. Part of Long Bay Regional Park, the beach a pleasant 15 minute walk from Long Bay. When you get to the Regional Park Car Park, drive right to the end and then walk northwards along the beach and around the rocks at low tide or follow the cliff walk at high or rising tide. Continue past Granny's Bay and onwards to Pohutukawa Bay. Do not risk getting stuck going around the rocks when the tide is incoming! The inland track is also mountain bikeable.
