Getting There
Drive to the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. When you get on the island turn right to Leysdown, which is 7 miles. Drive through the centre of Leysdown (it's very small) and carry on towards the sea. The road then bears right and follows the sea, then past a cafe and tolites on the left (the last food/toilets you'll see, but not always open) and comes inland slightly, before taking a sharp left again towards the sea. As the road reaches the dyke before the sea, you'll see a sign to an apparently private and unmade up road. Drive along this road (slowly, there are often potholes). You'll see some shacks on the dyke on the left, then there is a little hill and the car parking for the beach is immediately on the right as you go over the hill. You must stay dressed until you are on the naturist part of the beach, and stay within the signs, some people wander naked up to the Shellness Estate, which has caused complaints and will get the beach closed down.
