Getting There
Take the E 30th street exit off I5 just south of the bridge over the Willamette river. If you are heading north, follow Franklin blvd north a block or so to the intersection, turn right. If you are traveling south on I5, take the exit, turn left under I5, then left again on Franklin Blvd, go a block or so north, then turn Right at the intersection. Follow the road under the RR trestle, you'll see the old Bring Recycling center on the left. Just past that, you'll see a dirt parking lot. Park there, or somewhere along the roadside. At the north end of the parking lot you'll see a fairly broad dirt path. Follow it to the river and many of the area ponds, or sloughs. Ask the users in the area, they will point you in the right way.....
