Getting There
This is a locals secret. You have to drive down Conzelman Road till you see a US Park Service toilet facility with a small parking lot. Conzelman Road is ONE WAY. If you miss the parking lot you can back up, since hardly anyone uses the road. Otherwise, you might have to make a few loops. The view is awesome and the lot fills up quickly on a nice day, but you can park off the road without any problems. If you arrive later you could opt to park in a lot farther down the one way road at a former artillery battery and hike back. There is a trail down to the beach and it is in varied condition depending on the time of year. So wear HIKING shoes for the hike down and back up.
